This course introduces students to the concepts of systems and practices in logistics and supply chain management. Logistics is part of the supply chain management and is defined as the process of managing procurement, movement, and storage of finished materials and inventories as well as the flow of relevant information through the organization as well as an effective marketing channel to meet customer needs.
