Kursus ini meliputi sejarah pengeluaran petroleum; penjelajahan dan penaksiran petroleum; kaedah pengeluaran; pelantar dan keperluan-keperluan telaga minyak, memahami pempropesasan eksport dan import sumber petroleum; meninjau masalah yang dihadapi oleh pengeluar petroleum dan jenis penyelesaian; masa depan pengeluar petroleum, memahami teknik pemprosesan minyak mentah dan jenis-jenis produk petroleum.
This course covers the history of petroleum production ; petroleum exploration and appraisal; production methods; rigs and oil wells needs, understand the process of exports and imports of petroleum resources; review the problems faced by the petroleum producer and the type of solution, the future of petroleum producers , understanding the technical processing of crude oil and other types of petroleum products.

This course will expose the students to general aspect or environmental biology. Information regarding organism, taxonomy, function and basic cell structure can be understand during the introduction of the course. Biogeochemical cycle, biomass, biotransformation will also be emphasis throughout the course. Next the application in medical, agriculture and industry will be discuss before proceeding to issues related to environmental biology. This course will train students to use knowledge in solving environmental problems and students can apply experimental findings to solve environmental problems.

EKT3083 PENILAIAN RISIKO ALAM SEKITAR - SES3/3B
This course offers a thorough introduction to the principles, concepts and methodologies of environmental risk assessment, focusing particularly on human health, ecosystems and industrial activities. Students will learn how to evaluate the physicochemical properties of pollutants, analyse environmental exposure pathways and apply risk assessment techniques while accounting for uncertainty. The course also covers the social aspects of risk, such as public perception, effective communication, and relevant legislation.
Teaching and learning activities include lectures, case studies, group discussions and project-based tasks. These activities enable students to develop analytical and practical skills for identifying, evaluating and managing environmental risks, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
Assessment methods include tests, individual and group assignments, oral presentations and applied course projects. A final examination will evaluate students' mastery of theories and methodologies and their ability to apply knowledge to practical risk assessment scenarios.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to analyse environmental problems using appropriate risk assessment methods and demonstrate sound cognitive skills in evaluating complex issues. They will also be able to select and apply suitable techniques for quantifying environmental risks, showcasing their competence in numeracy and problem-solving. Furthermore, students will be able to propose and explain actions to reduce environmental burdens to stakeholders in an ethical and professional manner, thereby fostering accountability and responsible decision-making.

EKT4133 PROJEK PENYELIDIKAN II - SEL4/SES3B
This course incorporates the High Impact Education Practices (HIEPs) through an interdisciplinary approach to evaluation. The practise of research planning, analysis, and study conclusion in accordance with SDG 15—Life on Land—was emphasised throughout this course. In keeping with the 10-10 MySTIE strategy, the course will also place a focus on studies or research pertaining to socioeconomic factors – education and technological drivers - augmented analytic and data discovery. Following that, students must prepare a final year research report. A lecturer will supervise each student.
