Kursus ini akan menerangkan konsep utama dan teori berkaitan pengurusan dan perkhidmatan Pejabat Perpustakaan dan Pengurusan Ilmu berkaitan pentadbiran, perkhidmatan, arkib, dan penerbitan. Pelajar juga akan didedahkan dengan kemahiran komunikasi, perancangan strategik, penyelidikan dan juga penerbitan.

This course will develop students professional skills with basic knowledge and skills in the AI field, including basic theoretical knowledge about image processing, speech processing, and natural language processing (NLP), as well as the ability to develop AI products and general open-source frameworks. The course is comprising of deep feedforward networks, image processing theory and applications, speech processing theory and applications, NLP theory and applications, the image processing experiment, the speech processing experiment, and the NLP experiment. By the end of this course, students will be able to achieve the learning outcomes stated in the course learning outcomes section. 

This course is a review of fundamental skills for computing mathematics, which is essential for the study of algebra and numerical computations in data science, artificial intelligence and computer science in general. Students will undertake interactive lecture and lab hours, equipped with tutorial and discussion sessions. To ensure practical skills and experiences, powerful software tools such as MATLAB and Scilab will be used to prepare the students with the hands-on skills before completing the continuous assessments such as labs, test, assignment and project. The outcome of this course is to enable the students to apply the computing mathematics principles and formulas in computing and IT-related problems.

This course provides a strong knowledge of advanced algorithms and practical problem-solving skills. The topics and applications that plan to cover include a wide range of advanced algorithm design techniques including dynamic programming, linear programming, approximation algorithms, and parallel algorithms. The course also covers several major strategies in algorithm design such as the string algorithms, maximum flows, online algorithms, computational geometry and NP completes. Students should develop analysis skills to solve advanced algorithmic problems and application to real-world problems.

This course will discuss basic concepts of molecular biology, structure and mode of transport in cells, respiratory and photosynthesis processes as well as gas exchange occurring in plants and animals. In addition, students will be taught about control and regulation in systems such as the nervous system, hormones, homeostasis and the regulation of animals and plants. Reproductive systems, immunization, infectious, genetic diseases will also be discussed. In addition, issues related to biodiversity and ecology as well as biotechnology are also addressed to give students a clear understanding.

This course is the activities organized by students to meet the needs of the course. Through this program students are required to prepare a research paper. Further, students are required to make a presentation of the research results in the form of papers in a seminar developed by the students themselves. All aspects related to the preparation of seminars from the beginning until the documentation is organized and conducted by the students with supervision and monitoring of the lecturer of the course. Students as organizers and presenters papers are questioned answer related findings. At the end of the program, students are required to produce documentation and related seminar proceedings as the assessment of the course.

In general, this course introduces the students with basic passive environmental design approach in architecture. The course helps the student in appreciating the role of environmental science in buildings and the built environment. This course enhances students' scientific understanding of appreciating solar control and its influence on thermal performance. This course enables students to understand the climate variables that affect the thermal performance of buildings, their relationship to the comfort of building users. This course entails other environmental parameter such as natural ventilation, natural lighting, thermal comfort, acoustic, bioclimatic principles, and ecological design.
